The sweeping capabilities are impressive on carpets as well as bare flooring. The vacuum and mop have a high level debris pickup and the mop is able to quickly saturate bare flooring.

The 8.5 cm height allows it to fit under low furniture, while front cameras and infrared sensors help it navigate around obstacles and thresholds with ease.
The Scout RX3 impressed us in our test of how well it cleaned baking powder near corners and baseboards. Its suction of 2,500 Pa was less powerful than some other robots, but it was able to move quickly and was extremely quiet. It didn't mop, and its cleaning pad that was removable was difficult to attach. It also couldn't handle dried-on dirt.

Other robots can follow an obstruction or follow an earlier route however, the RX3 bumbles around until it gives up.
We also encountered issues with the intelligent features of the device, namely its mapping feature as well as digital stay-out zones. While it did a decent job of avoiding our shoes and furniture legs but it could easily be caught by cables and socks and was unable to handle the tassels that adorn carpets. We decided not to include the Scout RX3 on our Best Buy list. The Scout RX3 offers a good price and impressive performance. It's worth looking into as an alternative to uprights that are traditionally used.
